Daisy

Diesel X Sassy

Born March 2, 2007

91lbs at 19 months

Howard's Sweet Daisy

Daisy is the pick female we kept from our pups out of Sassy & Diesel. Like any pup we have high hopes for her. She is a very outgoing female puppy with great drive and instinct, she has no fear for any dog or toy she has come into contact with yet (don't know if thats good or bad) and will not quit at tug o' war...

A few months later...

Wow, is all we can say about this girl. She has absolutely turned out to be everything we wanted out of this litter and we could not be happier that we kept her. She has as much drive as a 6month old dog that we have ever seen. She is absolutely fearless of everything she encounters, and refuses to be intimidated by anything.

I took Daisy with me to work just after she turned 6 months old and I was somewhat worried that she would be unable to make all the climbs through rugged mountains and so forth, but after the first day of 9+ miles of hiking on a 90 degree day all my worries of her not making it was simply cured. We were in the mountains about 7hrs and I never once had to put her on the leash or have to call her to me. Daisy was absolutely turned on at all the smells this place had to offer. Between all the squirrels, deer trails, and elk trails her nose had to be tired. She never got tired at all. Diesel and her make my long days of work in the mountains more enjoyable by being entertained, protected, and spending quality time together all at the same time. What more could we ask for.

1.5 years later...

Daisy has turned out to absolutely the greatest addition to our line of breeding yet. Although she has not been bred, her ability to demonstrate her willingness to please and instincts that run wild has thrilled us beyond our hopes. Diesel probably wishes she could lose some of the Alpha drive she possesses because of the rough time she gives him, just thankfully he lets her be or there would be too much trouble in the yard.

Daisy was given the opportunity at 20 months old to fully show her instincts that I have been bragging about. I was absolutely correct, she has "0" tolerance for any aggressive behavior towards me or herself. I could not have been happier on that day. I must mention again we don't train our dogs to bite sleeves or anything of that matter, we just like to prove that our dogs will do anything to prevent anything to happen to their family. Daisy may never see the sleeve again, but she will be able to utilize her instincts anytime its necessary.

We will update this page as Sweet Daisy continues to grow... You can see more pictures of Daisy on the Photo Gallery Page..

Daisy here @ 20months old letting everyone know she will not tolerate violence. Daisy attacked when she or I was approached with a bad attitude and only then.

Daisy has instincts for protection like her mother Sassy. This is the first time she has every been provoked in this manner. These picture illustrate instincts in our dogs. Her bad intentions while biting the sleeve can only be truly seen in person. We knew this dog was special from early as 5 weeks old.
